So,
1. can Super heavies be used in the Imperial Armour Battle Group FoC
2. What role are they, HQ, elite, troop, heavy support ect.

His war machines will crush you under their treads. His mighty guns will bring the very sky crashing down upon you. You cannot win. The Emperor has given us His greatest weapon to wield. So make yourselves ready. We are the First Kronus Regiment, and today is our Victory Day. " - Governor-Militant Lukas Alexander, Commander 1st Kronus Regiment |

Super-heavies, are typically Lords of War, at least for the IG/AM. You can take an ABG CAD then add the Super-heavy element formation from Mont'ka/Cadian supplement in order include super heavies easily.

Lords of war, very well, not too suprising. Also, if you don't mind me asking, when a unit it tagged with the apocyplse stamp (of the departo munitorum?) what does that mean?

LoW. There was a pdf update when the original Escalation book ( IIRC) was published that made all of them LoW options for ABG lists (and codex IG). This only helps if you want one of the Baneblade variants. If you want, say, a Malcador then you have to take it as a LoW slot. Nothing in 7th. They used to be Apocalypse-only units, but all of them are now normal LoW choices (as updated by pdf and/or later books). The only remaining Apocalypse-stamped things are the old Apocalypse formations, but none of those are relevant anymore.

Ok, sadly the Armoured Battle Group FoC has no LoW slot (1-2 HQ, 2-6 Troop, 0-3 Elite, 0-3 Fast Attack, 0-3 Heavy Support).

Again in your other thread, just use a CAD

That's because it's the 6th edition FOC. It isn't a special ABG detachment that you're required to use, it's just a reminder of "here's what the FOC looks like in case you forgot" like every codex used to have. But it isn't 6th edition anymore. A CAD can be taken from any faction, including the ABG list, and a CAD has a LoW slot.

Minor correction here: A CAD may be taken by any faction that has the compulsory battlefield roles. Skitarii, for example, have no HQ and cannot have a CAD.

Very well, a CAD it is(I'm pretty new, came in 7th edition tabletop, not sure when I started DoW, couple years ago).
