Hey everyone,

I'm getting back into the hobby after a nearly twenty year hiatus, and I'm currently working on a 1500 point 40K Ork army. I played Orks way back in the Rogue Trader days, and wow, how things have changed lol. I still have my old lead figures, the Ork Raiders from the days of yore, and also some old Space Marines, from the original box set of 30. I kept all of my old stuff, in the hopes I would find some time and some money to get back into it. I'm having a blast collecting and painting my new army, and I'm looking forward to testing my list out soon. There are a few great stores in my area, which is a lot better than when I first starting playing, it was difficult to find 40K stuff. One of my co-workers has Tau army, and he told me that his local hobby store was having a sale, and I wound up going home with the Start Collecting box of Orks, and as soon as I opened it, I knew I was hooked again lol. The resources and community that are available now is so different from years ago, and I think it's great. It's been a real help to getting back into the hobby.

Thanks for reading, I'm glad I'm back in the hobby.

Welcome to Dakka
