Hi Dakka,
I am headed to a large (150 player) semi-casual tournament in March. Composition score is based on a panel of 4 people and I was wanting you to help give me an indication as to how strong it is. I have added a poll, so please vote. If you think that the list is over powered or super competitive I would love to hear why so that I can look at toning it down.
My list is as follows:
Combined Arms Detachment:
HQ:
Lord of Change - Lesser Reward, ML3, Powers from Change Discipline, Warlord
Daemonic Heralds
- Herald of Tzeentch - ML3, Powers from Change Discipline
- Herald of Tzeentch - ML3, Powers from Change Discipline
Elites:
3 x Flamers of Tzeentch
Troops:
10 x Bloodletters
10 x Daemonetts
3 x Nurglings
3 x Nurglings
16 x Pink horrors - Icon of chaos + Iridescent Horror
16 x Pink horrors - Icon of chaos + Iridescent Horror
Fast Attack
3 x Screamers of Tzeentch
Heavy Support
1 x Skull Cannon of Khorne
Note: All Psykers are to roll on the Discipline of Change.
Thank you in advance for your input!

I would like to point out that you do not declare what disciplines your psykers use at list building, you do it when during game set up so you can choose what to roll for based on your opponent and what not.
Also this list is not competitive at all. All the competitive parts of daemons are using psychic buffs and artifacts to massively buff large units of daemons and summoning and you have 0 of it.

While it is normally true that you decide disciplines at game setup, the Tournament has specified that you must declare them at the list building phase.
Thank you for your input CrownAxe. I deliberately built my list to try and avoid the obviously competitive elements of Daemons. So to hear that it's not competitive means that I have hit the Mark I was after.

As of right now, I wouldn't worry about this list being "over powered", in fact I would be more concerned it is too under powered...
Looking at this list, it just lacks the focus demons need to play well. For instance:
I would probably drop the bloodletters in favor of another unit of daemonettes. Bloodletters alone like that are just very meh...They just don't have the speed you need them to have to get them into combat and if you drop them in, they just get shot to pieces. At least with daemonettes they are fast. and can keep up a little better with things like your screamers.
Never really used nurglings myself. I would probably switch those out for another set of screamers, personally.
I would drop the lesser reward on the Greater Demon (those just are very mediocre in general, it's the greater rewards that are worth taking imo). I would also drop the icons. I just don't see those doing a whole lot for you. That frees up a fair chunk of points. Which I would then use to switch out that khorne cannon for a soul grinder with phlegm bombardment.
Those are my thoughts. Even with those changes it's still not over-powered, but it would be better I believe.

Thanks for the input! A few of my choices have been constrained by what I have / will have available at the tournament, but I can see your point about dropping the Bloodletters in favour of Daemonetts.
I have found Nurglings to be very useful at holding objectives. In 5+ terrain they rock a 2+ when they go to ground. It means that my enemy has to dedicate ignores cover or assault them. Either way they are something that isn't going to be removed easily due to regular shooting.
Regarding the Lesser Reward, I was looking at taking the Staff of Change for the +2 Strength. It means that my LoC can pop marine characters in combat if it ends up there for whatever reason. I will certainly consider the Soul Grinder in place of the Cannon.
