I'm considering building a Praetorian guard regiment for 40k, good old massed infantry as I'm a fan of sloggers and we play for fun.

Thing is though I'm looking to do it fairly cheap-ish and while I'd love to buy units of Victoria Miniatures models I'm going to have to settle on just the heads. Which leads me to the big question of will the heads look right on the stocky Guardsman bodies. I'd love to include some of the female heads as I like the guard isn't picky. However I'd rather not order a couple packs of heads and sadly learn they just look a touch deformed.

So anyone have experience with these bits? Even better if someone has some pics to share that would be great.

Male heads work well with plastic Cadian torsos, female not so much.
