Odd route to colour scheme, not what I intended at outset!
Hull: Army Painter black undercoat, heavy drybrush AP version of Space Wolf grey, heavy drybrush AP turquoise, rough edge highlight with some P3 blue and ice grey. Green bits on P3 greens, forget the names. One Dark Angels-y, one superneon warpstone-y one.
Feathers: P3 Menoth White Base, recess shade of AP Strong Tone, Menoth White Highlight.
For the mud I used one of Warhammer TV's tips. I had never thought of using flesh drybrush over a brown basecoat for mud. Looks the business! Don't tell Duncan I'm using P3 paints, though...

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all. |

Facts are chains that bind perception and fetter truth. For a man can remake the world if he has a dream and no facts to cloud his mind. |

Thanks for the kind words chaps, appreciate it! I had a lot of fun painting this one. It inspired a scenery binge - more pics to follow.

DO EEEIT!
I'm glad I did. I'm gonna adapt a cheapo flickering LED tealight to pop inside the cockpit section. :-)

Exactly, the design requirements were that it had to land. If you wanted it to take off again, you should have been more specific in your requirements.
