Okay, so there she is. Painted her with a slight Egyptian vibe, and quite like how she turned out.

C&C appreciated!

Spoiler:

The image quality is not really good, sorry about that, will have to get a lightbox.

I am totally enamored with the antique bronze look on the beetle. Seriously A+ work there. At first i wasn't in love with Alarielle, but the more I look at her, the more I realize I love it. The white is incredibly well done and the blue head dress is beautiful. The only criticism I can pick out is the haft of her weapon looking a little flat. That may be down to the picture though.
You absolutely nailed it. It looks phenomenal and makes me want to paint everything that wonderful bronze!

The images seem to be broken for me.

@Ghulli: Thanks for the praise^^ It's really appreciated. The haft of the weapon is a bit flat because of the photo, as it's sort of diagonal streaks of very light grey on a slightly darker grey base, to give it a marble-like feel, but I guess the cam got it bad.

@Amazingturtles: Yep, I see they're broken. Will try to post them somewhere I can link for better access.

Edit: Fixed the pics, I hope.

At first I thought the beetle wasn't painted , but on closer study and further pictures showed it was a subtle and masterful paint job

Thanks a lot for all the praise. It's really appreciated.

My army has an exotic/egyptian theme going, and lorewise it hails from the realm o metal, thus, all non-elven creatures are partly, or wholly, made of metal, from the owls perching on my dryads, to the snake body of medusae, to the lions pulling a chariot, to hydras and the wardroth beetle. Even the leaves on Drycha and Durthu are painted bronze.

Adding some additional pics of my Drycha Hamadreth and War Hydra (Nicknamed "Heil Hydra" because of a Marvelverse running joke at my local GW store...)
