Hey all
Need some advice. I've been trying to convert a biker command squad with grav guns and ss. Using the ravenwing bikes (because they look sick).
I need help with;
1. Converting the bikes so they either have boltguns or the grav guns on the actual bikes rather than the plasma talons.
2. Where to put the ss and ways to make it work

Cheers

The classic 'bikers need three or four arms' modeling dilemma

I've seen conversions where the grav gun (trimmed down to reduce length) replaces the bike headlight, which can look pretty good.

The obvious 2 options for the shield are:
- an upper arm mounting, allowing the hand to grip handlebars
- modify the bike front fairing bit to look like a giant storm shield (retaining the bolters but probably covering the headlight). Fluffwise, this represents a bike-specific version of the normal shield.

The way I did my command bike squad ws to glue the Stormshield onto the bike behind the rider. I then magma tired the grav gun arm

Hahah yeah mate its one of those problems xD
Do you have a link to any tutorial or photo of that conversion??
I can't seem to fit the shield on properly in the forearm position.

Why not mount the Grav Gun to the bike where the Boltguns usually go, and have one arm holding the Storm Shield?

Incorporate the Grav gun into the storm shield.

Have the storm shield mounted on the wrist of the arm holding the grav gun.

Maybe have the marines painted as members of the armoury, giving them servo arm mounted weaponry and shields to represent their affiliation with the techmarines of the chapter.
