I was looking at the webstore only things on GW webstore, and i came across the 15$ Clansmen of Lamedon set of 3.
I thought they might be good models for acolytes, possibly being exceptional members of the drookian fen guard.

so i started wondering what other cool acolyte models there are out there. anyone have an exceptional one?

Those are Lord of the Rings models. They are too small to use in 40k or AoS, they have a different scale.

They didn't look too small...

They are somewhat smaller, but this alone doesn't have to be such a big issue. I and others have made good looking henchmen out of grots so too small is not really such a big issue with henchmen. They where just mutants or children.
The real issue is that Lotr miniatures are realistically proportioned and 40k models are not. This makes them look strange (with their silly small heads, and flimsy weapons etc.) and unusable without some conversions.

Wow Sigmarines are big. TBH, that's sort of the size SM should be if their tabletop size actually matched the fluff.

If only Terminators didn't skip Leg Day I'd use them for conversions instead...
