So I'm looking to make a pipe organ for some scenery/model, similar to the Exorcist Sisters of Battle Tank.

Any recommendations for materials? I'm thinking maybe straws, but they could be too thin...

Adeptus Astartes - Imperial Fists
Blood Angels - Archangels of The Storm
Cult Mechanicus - Agripinaa
Imperial Knights - House Hawkshroud
Astra Militarum - House Hawkshroud Knight Guard
The Tau Empire - Vash'ya Sept

I Made for chaos with small straws, basically dangerous terrain/barricade,but if you paint them gold, add some floaty servo skulls would fit your theme nicely.

How do they hold up? I'm thinking of mounting it on top of an Imperial Knight, going for a Balck Templar/Crusader theme, so I'm worried that they might not be strong enough to withstand.... anything really

A fat blob of superglue that's all was more fiddly gluing them together without gluing my fingers to them, you could make little stands out of some greenstuff with some rivets for mounting,The smaller straws are stronger than the larger ones, slightly thicker walls, Probably want a darker gold too for that gehenna's gold is almost bronzed in color, assuming you want all dark colors.

Plasticard comes in tubes of various sizes, glues readily with any plastic modelling glue and cuts easily, too (well, learning to cut the stuff is a useful skill to have, anyway).

Can be found in any decent model store (especially if they deal with model trains). Certain gaming retailers also carry it (Combat company in Australia does, for example).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

For a pipe organ you need a variety of sizes, as a pipe organ has a variety of different size pipes. Small pipes produce higher notes, and large ones produce deeper notes.
