Anyone come up with a cheap alternative to Brimstone Horrors? Either 3rd party or conversion? Thanks!

Green stuff fire then find a way to get two faces in there. Either sculpt them or dryad heads

I'm using the plethora of ork and goblin heads I have spare, and flaming them up with GS. .
Doesn't look.. good. But neither do the real models..

Just greenstuff them, making fire is really simple and if it looks off well it's unnatural fire anyway.

A skull and a bit of greenstuff seems to be like a decent idea for me, at least that's what I'm going to try.

There has to be a 3th party company who does something in the lines this. Or already did something like small fire elementals, imps etc. Sculpting each one individually is madness.

If there really isn't anything out there and you guys really want some cheap mass fire mini's. I might just start casting my own small living fire twins miniatures.

My Pink & Blue Horrors are Lizardmen Skinks with Dryad heads & arms. My Brimstones are just 2 Dryad heads glued to the extra "head branches" that come with the Dryad heads:

I'm anticipating a new Blue/Brimstone Horrors box with the upcoming Tzeentch release. You may keep an eye on that.

How much do the skink / dryad horrors come out to per model? Seems like it would be in the 3 to 4 dollar range.

I think a box of 24 Skinks is $35 and have plenty of extra arms to add a third arm to each model. I only used Dryad arms because I had some already, but simply having an extra skink arm would look fine.
The Dyrad heads can be bits-ordered, but the price will vary. I got 24 heads, including the branch extensions, for about $10 eBay. With 2 heads per base, I got 12 Brimstones total

So if you buy 1 box of Skinks and 2 "orders" of Dyrad heads, that is about $55 for 12 Pinks, 12 Blues & 12 Brimstones. So less than $2 per model.
