My question is will we see a 30k Lion first or with all the madness occurring now do you think we will Se a 40k Lion sooner. If so when?

Surfing the Tervigon Wave...on a baby.

I predict the Lion will awaken about 25 minutes after his alarm was set for, after hitting Snooze a few times.

Now only a CSM player.

I really am curious if he's going to pop up in 40k. Part of me wants to have him leading my DA army, but at the same time I'm not sure a primarch belongs in 40k. Especially if they make him that he just gets stepped on by a wraithknight.

Jokes on you... it was really Luther who saved the Dark Angels and Johnson was the Traitor and he's the crazy one in the cell all these years. He'll break free, kill Luther and dedicate his forces to attacking Terra to become the new Emperor before Abaddon can get there. Meanwhile Magnus and Ahriman broke into the Black Library to find a cure for the rubric only to instead find a way to repair the golden throne. Magnus then uses the webway and his Thousand Sons repel Johnson and his Dark Angels long enough to repair the throne, the emperor to pardon all of Magnus' crimes, and to declare the Dark Angels traitors.

Warhammer 40,000: Age of Magnus

But seriously... no one knows. It's safe to say that if they don't already have a FW model then they'll eventually come out during this whole campaign which will bring about 8th edition.

My ancient "lab"

Well, he's the only confirmed "alive" primarch as of the current state of things, so i'd wager he's going to return relatively soon, but probably after Russ because of Warzone: Fenris.

it really depends, I suspect they'll bring back primarchs that they belvie will sell, so the question is "Are dark angels a top selling SM army?"

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

How do you know the Lion isn't already awake and simply locked in some dark corner of the rock unable to find his keys.

Also Rowboat is technically confirmed alive, as in put in stasis on the very verge of death. If they took him out he'd probably die, but being ultramarines he'd probably just slap a bandaid on it, walk it off, and then write a book about it.

Probably third? Standard marines, then wolves, then DA? I doubt BA or GK sell more, especially now that DA (well, Azzy and RW) are upper tier. If they make the Lion have the 4++ to squad he'll likely replace Azzy, at least in large games. On top of that, the simple fact that he's a primarch will get some players to buy him just to paint him.

I doubt csm were top selling so it'd make it more likely for the DA to boost their sales if they're on the lower side of marine sales.

Maybe, wraith/traitor legions does seem to address many of the big complaints chaos had versus standard marines, toss in a few new units in up coming black crusade supplements and CSMs could even be one of the big factions again.

so with that mind set, what are the under performing armies that need a boost. Guard strike me as likely and I can't imagine fall of Cadia won't involve a lot of stuff for the guard
