Hey, how does cypher fall into the mix of traitor legion?
Can he be taken in a decurion seeing as he does not take up a FOC slot?
What legions do you think he works best in?

I have always loved cypher as he is my favorite model and the dark angels/fallen angels are my go too so I am now rebuilding and reorganizing my marines and giving them a more pre heresy treatment. Currently using my fallen as Death Guard and Black Legion while thinking on trying alpha legion but still have yet to make a list I like. Wanting to throw cypher in these lists of course but I am unsure if I can take him in a decurion.

He's got his own formation with Chosen. So do that I guess.

The Chosen aren't really a tax either. They'll functionally identical to Alpha Legion Chosen.

As a unique character Cypher cannot be taken by Any legions period.

But, it's easy enough to take his formation.

Ah ok lol yeah I forgot about the unique character restriction. I guess I am to take the formation. It's not that the formation is bad really but each legions chosen seem better in their own way compared to the Fallens with atsknf.

Heck, you could take him in a non- legion formation from traitor legions like a TAF, you'd just have to make that your primary. Cypher goes damn near anywhere he pleases.
