Hello everyone, So, I was curious about something. Looking through my Tau codex I found these two colorschemes

And I was curious if any of the many awesome painters here had any idea what GW paints to use to achieve these two colorschemes?

Gathering the Informations.

The Stealth Suit would be easy enough to duplicate.

Green would be done using:
Straken Green
Reikland Fleshshade(or substitute it for Athonian Camoshade if you want it a bit greener)
Go back over the Straken Green to bring the color back up.
Finish with a layer of Ogryn Camo.

That's the way they've done the "new" Cadian color schemes from the campaign books and the like.

The Broadside has a very striking colorscheme and while I like both, The more I actualy look at them, The more I'm leaning towards the Broadsides colorscheme.. Very unusual form the usual Tau armies I see (Most I'v seen are blue, Grey, Red like Farsight, Or the standard sandy khaki of classic tau)

Thanks for the info on the Stealth suit though! I can still use that for some models and see what looks good IRL! ^_^

The Broadside was covered back in White Dwarf 400. The dark green is Kabalite Green while the light green is Sybarite Green.
