hi there.

lets say there is an decurion style detatchment, i.e. the one with mandatory core choices + optional auxs and command choices...
and i dont wanna field that detatchment but just one of the command choices... is this possible, even if the command choice doesnt have its own formation dataslate(? a describtion-page of that formation)?

No, you cannot field it by itself if you want to be "bound".

The rulebook tells you about detachments and formations, bound and unbound. The rules text above the Multi Formation Detachment you want to use describes how to use the formations and auxiliary choices in the detachment.
The bit that seems to be missed a lot is that although the auxiliary and command choices are noted in the same place as the formations, they aren't standalone formations unless they have a dataslate describing the formation rules.
