So I use I ordered the chaos terminator lord/sorcerer, I whant to mount the sorcerer but since I already have one with a force stave and one with a force sword I wanted to put a force axe in this one. My question is, can I use the power axe as a force axe or does a force axe has something special, I was thinking of painting the blade green with 3 layers of drybrush to symbolize the psicki energy coming out of it.

Just let your opponent know what it is before the game and you will be fine.

All three archetypes of force weapon (axe, sword, maul/ stave) have their own rules in the rulebook. So yes, they are significant, but at the end of the day as long as your opponent knows "They all have axes" it won't be a problem.

It's a chaos force axe...in my opinion, you could use a force axe, a power axe, a chainaxe or even an ork axe or something if you wanted to!...just make it look like it can channel psychic power somehow - that green "glow" paintjob would work...and when you use it in a game, let your opponent know it's a force axe

...it's good to be green!
