I am considering changing my Nid color scheme and have been looking at the xenomorphs from Alien Resurrection. In particular the very dark reddish browns with some spots of lighter fleshy tones intermixed.







I have a good teeth/claw color already picked out. I have some brighter greens I am considering for eyes/ mouths/ gooey bits (not married to it yet though). And I have goldens orange green interference paint I am considering putting over black or dark brown on the shell parts to give it a little beetley effect. I generally don't go too crazy on the number of colors I use for a particular part of the body. Prime in black, paint a base, paint a lighter color for an accent and depth. Add a wash. So preferably 2-4 colors max to get the basic look. Anyone have any suggestions for which colors to use? Doesn't have to be GW paints either. Just whatever colors are best. Thanks!
