Hey all,

I'm thinking of building an army around the Lost and the Damned formation, probably Word Bearers so it's a core choice. I don't really know where to begin though! Anyone got any experience using it, or any ideas generally? How would you kit it out and what else would you bring?

Check out spikeybits.com. They did a break down showing armies for the new traitor legions book and include some sample list. If I remember they did a lost and the damned formation in an alpha legions list using their new rules. IIRC the rules for both the lost and the damned and the alpha legion rules stack on the cultist. So if a unit of cultist get wiped out you get to roll two dice to place an identical unit in reserve on a 4+, one for lost and damned and one for alpha legion, and I think the alpha legion one gets outflank.

I been playing with a list including an Alpha Legion Lost and Damned along with my 2 renegade Knights. Infiltrate is great for placing the cultists in an optimal way to provide bubble wrap while not slowing down the Knights turn 1 movement.
