Hey guys, keen to get some feedback on an emperor's children list I'm playing around with.

It's pretty basic at the moment until i work out where i want to take it next (pointers would be great). The group i play with aren't uber competitive, but we still play to win.

Just looking for ideas on the next step or glaring omissions etc. Also, what's a good loadout for the bikers and biker champion?

Emperor's children rapture battalion
- lord of the legion
- Sorcerer: level 3, power stave, lore of slaanesh
- chaos warband
- chaos lord: bike, sigil of corruption, LC/PF, intoxicating elixir
- 6 chosen: icon of excess, 5x plasma, champ with LCx2, gift of mutation
- 5 bikers: icon of excess, champ with gift of mutation
- 1 Helbrute: multi melta, power fist
- 10 marines: melta, combi melta, rhino
- 10 marines: melta, combi melta, rhino

- spawn
- 1 spawn: Mark of slaanesh

Unbound daemon
- 5 seekers of slaanesh: champ with lesser gift

Keen to add some noise marines once i work out conversions.

None of the guys I play against use flyers, so anti air isn't an issue

I have been playing with noise marines for about half a year now.. so I hope i can say that i am not a novice anymore. But the whole idea of the rapture battalion was to utilise sonic weaponry... atleast that is how i see it. Why not actually go for something noisy instead of just the 4+ fnp. str 9 ap 3 small blasts are actually fairly nice. same goes for the sonic blasters which pound anything not space marine into a pulp.

What is the point of taking the rapture battalion if its an unbound list? You won't get the detachment bonuses.

Thanks for the feedback.
I will be adding the noise marine formation, just need to sorry it my conversions for it first. Buy they will be in addition to the above. I was looking for thoughts on that.

I was under the impression that as long as you have fulfilled all the requirements of the detachment, then those involved get the benefits of the detachment, so if i have an unbound detachment alongside it it wouldn't affect the rapture battalion, is that not the case?

You mean the chapter tactic rules? yeah you get those, but not the kakophoni formation rules or anything. Playing unbound is not really a way to make friends.. at least in my FLGS.
