I knowthat you can get some amazing weathering with hairspray, are there any other uses for it? Could you maybe seal/glue terrain with it?

I use it on Terrain all the time, it makes for a pretty good sealant (though it does smell for a while, at least mine does). It's cheap and it'll protect your paintjob so I like it.

I don't use it on miniatures though. Not really sure if I have a reason I just never have.

It makes a reasonable spray adhesive for flocking highlights on trees, and can help seal scatter onto terrain boards.

My main use for it at the moment though is prepping my 3d printer build surface.
