If I have a Lord Commissar or Yarrick as my Warord I can't have anyone with the Senior Officer Special Rule, ok, what if I have a CCS in a formation, say the Emperor's ShIeld Company, can I still have the LC be my warlord, or do units in formations count too?

As per the Chain of Command rule, it only matters if they're in your primary detachment. As long as they're in a different detachment to your primary one they can be your warlord.

I checked the FAQ apperantly that is a misspelling and was meant to say army.
