I'm looking to put together a small dark eldar army to use in casual games at my local gw. The games tend to be pretty friendly without anyone bringing anything super powerful (aside from the occasional grey knight army with numerous dreadknights). I would like to have a decent chance of winning, while still being fun to play with and against. This is what I've come up thoughts?

HQ:
- Succubus - 135
-- Agoniser, Archite Glaive, Armour of Misery

Troops:
- Kabalite Warriors- 120
-- Blaster, Venom (Splinter Cannon)

Personally, I find the blasters in Kabalite Warrior units kinda useless. The points add up really quickly, so I try to avoid them.

Don't give the succubus an agonizer either, he official model has one, but it is incredibly easy to replace (just an army swap) so it isn't super hard. The real reason to take a succubus is I8 AP2, and an agonizer is points wasted on her I think.

Otherwise it looks pretty good!

Originally I wasn't going to put blasters on the Kabalites, but I've seen a few people on here and elsewhere suggesting it. I took the agoniser because it seems useful for fighting MEQs and other things with 3+ or worse since it gives me an extra attack while still wounding on a 4+, or is that wrong?

It will still give you an extra attack, but the archite glaive wounds MEQ on a 4+ anyways, against TMC's and whatever T5+ 3+ models (I can't think of any) it has an advantage, but generally you want the poison to kill MC's, and the melee to kill the tough shooty squads. Chop the shooty, shoot the choppy.

It is a fair point to throw the blasters in the kabalite squads, it means that they have some AT utility, but the scourge should have you covered when it comes to AT, especially in such a small game.

The glaive needs to be wielded two handed to gain the +1S needed to wound meq on a 4+, in which case you can't gain the +1A for two ccw.

I'm not a fan of Incubi (other than them aesthetics jeebus they're cool looking), because what they're best at, shredding light infantry on the charge, can be accomplished more effectively and efficiently with DE shooting. If you're trying to escort an HQ with them, I'd look into Sslyth - T5 2-wound meatshields are nothing to scoff at.

Speaking of HQ, what's the Succubus going to do that an Archon can't do with an Agonizer and Shadow Field 2+ invuln?

Gummy has a point with the Blasters, you're at a point level where you can leverage the sum of those points elsewhere. The downside to Blasters is that if you want to shoot a vehicle, you have to waste your Splinter Rifle shots from that unit that turn. You've got a lot of anti vehicle in your Scourge, but if you wanted to shift things around you could drop the Blasters, make 1 Scourge unit to pick up some of the MC/MEQ versatility while retaining good vehicle punching power, and take the points you saved to put them into Reavers with Cluster Caltrops.

Overall it's pretty good, the main thing is that the job the Incubi will be doing can accomplished better and cheaper elsewhere.

Don't forget that Blasters have AP2 and double out T4, while also being your best bet against the Dreadknight spammer.

Sure, you've got bundles of poison but 2+ armour is tough to cut through with just poison.

Look cool? Originally I was going to have Lelith instead but I decided that I liked the succubus model just as much and it saves points.
