Good Afternoon,
I have a fair amount of GW paint pots that have dried out. Anyone know of any easy way to be able to make the paint usable again?
Thanks,
Rex

I've recovered one pot with Retarder Medium and Vallejo Flow Improver and of course water.

How dry? If their dried hard, you're pretty much SOL. I suppose you could try grinding it into a fine powder, adding acrylic medium, and seeing if that works.
If they're just really muddy thick, then a mix of acrylic medium and water is the way to go. Trying to recover it with just water could cause the pigment to become really grainy.

If you need to do anything other than add water and stir then just put that money towards purchasing some paints from one of the many other companies out there for whom drying out in the pot/bottle isn't an issue.

Acrylic medium is a very handy thing to have around when you use acrylic paints and artist inks. If you've already got it, why not use it? And if you don't have it, get it to free yourself from pre-mixed washes.

Thank you all! I will pick one up some medium and distilled water and see what can be done.
