im not sure this will work, could you attach a warpsmith to a olbit squad and will he get DS as well if so. you can drop a 4 man squad of anti tank hate with 3 mm and 2 melta shots than can cripple even a knight.

if we did this there are a total of 18 oblit dropping in all around your enemy with anti yes weapons, add in a cult of destruction and you have a wold of hate landing right where you want it, and right where your opponent doesnt. on top of that your havoks and my guess heldrakes flying around will make a great attack force isnt that right?

No, a warpsmith can't gain deep strike that way. I don't know of any way to give him deep strike except a dreadclaw.

Bob is right: deepstrike doesn't spread around to models without it and requires eveey model to have it in order to use it.
Though mass deepstriking Obliterators is a fun idea. If you ran the black legion decurion where you can start rolling for reserves on turn 1, and took the cult of destruction with that then you could have tons of oblits coming down turn 1 for a decent alpha strike!

You could buy a dreadclaw and put the smith and his unit of oblits in there to deepstrike, but now you're adding 100 points plus a larger footprint, since you need to drop close for shooting. Not to mention needing a CAD to get the claw in the first place.
