I am playing in a local tournament and am winning so far. I could need some help optimising however so any input would be highly apreshiated.
This list consists of a flameblade strike force (demicompany and a first company strike force) and a skyhammer anialation force.

I would be temp if possible to take 5 of the assault marines and add them to 1 of the devestator units. This would give you the option within your skyhammer to combat squad for 3 dev units and 3 assault units. if you come up against a army with lots of vehicles/walkers you can split the 10 man into 2 cannons in each to target more units. against armies wihch have minimal units effected by grav you can concentrate with a 4 cannon unit and use the other bolter combat squad to make a 3rd unit stop from overwatching against the 3 assault squads you have.

That could defenitly help, but my expirence is that it really halps when you can bind 3-4 units in close combat. However I will try it outside of the turnament. thx

holding 3-4 in cc is nice but if 2 of those units are going to get overwatched it may not be as good.

3 stopping overwatch and 3 charging is good. especially against eldar bikes and wraith guard and tau (definately tau).
