So, in the case a rinno or dropod has be purchuched has dedicated transport it can only take one squad, but if a rinno, razorback, vindicator, landraider is purcheced in separate, can it take 2 squads of 5 marines?

You can take ten marines, combat squad them so there are 2 units of 5. You cannot take 2 different units of 5 as it is a dedicated transport for a single unit.

No. The only time you can have multiple units in a transport is super heavy transports. Of if there is a special rule allowing it (like a stormraven that can have a squad, plus a dread)

Barring ICs attached to squads.

Edit: Or, as pointed out above, combat squads.

Clarifying/adding onto this somewhat, even if it is not a Dedicated Transport (i.e. is selected as a standalone Fast Attack choice) it may only carry one unit, including any joined Independent Characters, up to its maximum Transport Capacity.

Ok, so lets take for example the tactical marines, a unit of 5 can take 1 special or 1 heavy, one unit of 10 can take 1 special and 1 heavy. Can I squad 2 units with specials or does it have to be 1 special and one heavy. This is not an actual problem, I have 3 squads with a special and 3 with a heavy, I just whant to make sure what I can and cannot do.

As I understand it, Combat Squading is taking a single unit of 10 marines and splitting it into to separate 5 man squads before deployment, you don't get to mix and match the wargear from other squads.

No, you can't take two 5 man units with Specials.

If you are taking two units in a Rhino, it has to be via either a squad + IC, or two Combat Squads, which in your case, would need to be a ten man tactical squad divided into 5 men with a special, and 5 men with a heavy. It wouldn't be two 5 man tactical squads bought as separate units, but the one ten man squad which is split at deployment within the vehicle. As such, you would have one Sergeant, one Special, one Heavy, and the 7 regular Marines, to be divided into two equal halves.

I'm not super certain that this is what you're asking, but if you have two 5-man tactical squads, taking up two different FOC slots, then yes they can both have a special weapon (but they may not share a non-super-heavy transport), they are not forced to have 1 special and 1 heavy - only the combined unit purchased as a single slot has to do that (which can then be split apart using the Combat Squads rule, as posters above have described).

Read the 'Combat Squads' special rule. If you had read the rule you would understand because it very clearly states, "A full strength, ten-man unit with this special rule can..."

This forum is for rules clarification. It's not somewhere you can come and ask how rules work just because you have not looked at or do not have them.
