So I'm getting AOS after a hiatus after fantasy died, and with the models I've got left after my purge I put this together. Let me know what you guys think.

My plan is to mystic shield the executioners and sending them at the biggest threat and use the cav detachments to harass and assassinate.

Other models I have are 10 warlocks/dark riders in box, a second great eagle and 5 dark riders converted to silver helms (shields and Lance's) so I could continue the trend for 10 or 15 silver helms.

I've only recently come back to Fantasy myself.

One of the big differences is magic. Loremaster doesn't know 8 spells anymore. Just the 2 generic ones and his own spell. His spell is pretty sweet because it lets any MODEL reroll hits and wounds until your next hero phase.

Doesn't do jack to units other than rerolls for a champ I guess. LoreMaster kinda sucks now unless your specifically using him for his one spell.

Without any monsters (behemoths) or other characters (which are two gaping holes in your list) he's kinda worthless. Literally fights like a sword master and not even the champion.

I'd at least work in prince on griffon to team him up with but really you should rework your list to include a couple monsters at least.

The anointed on Phoenix is the closest thing I've seen to an auto take out of all the armies I've ever played ever.

Pay the cost of the Phoenix and hey if you want an anointed on it go for it. No cost just a 4++ save, extra static attack and the chance to respawn from the grave if your on the flamer.
