I have tried my go to method of using LA Awesome for removing paint, I also used concentrated simple green, and I used an oldie but a goodie old school trick of spraying easy off on a GW leman Russ tank but so far the paint is not coming off. Any tips or ideas will be very helpful. What do you guys out there use to strip paint off without harming the plastic.

Try Isopropyl Alcohol; I'd divulge into how it works here, but the tutorial I did a while back will say it better

Hope this will work for you.

Thanks for the tip. Do you know if it will dissolve superglue?

About the only two solvents I know of that will dissolve superglue are Acetone and MEK. Both turn plastics and resin into goo, though (and MEK WILL give you cancer, as well as do nasty stuff to you and any offspring you may create).

Other solvents may soften it though - but I've never noticed Isopropyl Alcohol being one of the removing ones. Great for stripping acrylic paints, not much else.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

If breaking superglue bonds is a goal, try chucking the model in the freezer. The low temperatures make the bonds brittle, so you could possibly snap the part off. Careful though, or you'll just snap the part.

Unfortunately no - Isopropyl only reacts to the paint. The only stripper I'm aware of that can remove superglue is Dettol, but that stuff is pretty bad to work with, and leaves a nasty odour on your miniatures.

Still, Dettol is highly effective against more stubborn paintjobs; soak the miniatures for 24 hours and you should find very little evidence of glue or paint ever existing on them

ISO can't remove super glue, but it can dissolve the sand, grass, etc. that was glued on the base. At least it worked with me.
