Guardsman with Flashlight

Hello everyone, I just recently got into Orks and I've been spending a LOT of time converting model cars and what not into Ork Buggies, but I ran out of rockets to use. Half of the buggies are going to have Scorcha's, and the other half are going to have Rokkits. I have plenty of flamethrowers from my Imperial armies to use for Skorchas, but all the rockets have been used up.

So, what do you all normally do? I had thought of taking some plastic rod over to my mini lathe and using a small file to cut it to a point, but I'm sure there's an easier way.

Pic shows the first 5. Please bear in mind that these are still in an early, unfinished form and are not completed yet. These are 1/32-1/36 wind up toy cars.

Thank you all in advance!

Orks are happy to loot from anyone, so feel free to use any other races' missile launchers or equivalents.

Your local model shop may have aircraft missiles and rockets in 1:32 scale.

Or if you want something cheaper, look in a stationery store for cheap pens with dome-shaped caps or ends.

But your mini-lathe would probably work fine - so long as it can run at slow speed (too fast and friction will melt the plastic)

I've made a few with styrene tube, styrene fins, and Greenstuff for the nose cone. They looked sufficiently Orky.
Make yourself a few custom rokkits. Then cast them and make more!

A sneaky way to get the fins smoothly placed, is to have a sawblade about the thickness of the styrene you're working with, and start by cutting channels in the styrene tube to guide the fins, and cut notches so the fins slide a little further onto the tube to sit firmly. Cut another pair of notches in the fins so you can cross-hatch the fins in place.

I pull rockets off of model airplanes, which works OK.
