At my desk

So I have myself an Imperial Knight and two Thunderstrike Gauntlets and I reckon converting a Knight Galant to have two gauntlets holding a giant axe would be pretty cool. However the Thunderstrike Gauntlet is thoroughly left-handed, and so I need to convert a right hand.

Of course it would, in theory, be as simple as cutting the thumb joint and cabling off of either side, filing down any odd profiling and swapping them, but I'm not the best sculptor out there so before I went crazy and cut my valuable Gauntlets to irreparable pieces I thought I'd just ask the talented modelers of Dakka if they had any thoughts on the subject?

Any input is greatly appreciated as always. Cheers lads.

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!
