I picked up this kit; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D9BUSI0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Then realized I forgot to add release agent to the order. I've read that light spray-on oils such as PAM, or WD-40 work quite well. I have also read that light virgin Olive Oil will work as well.

For anyone that does resin casting, what do you all use?

I haven't used the kit you linked to, but I have use two component silicone rubber for molds before (and casting with two component resin ofcourse) and for all my castings I have settles for olive oil or corn oil.
Usually the resin won't stick much in the first place, but a thin layer of vegetable oil should do the trick.

Also in my experience, don't wait too long before removing the recently cast minis from the mold. Not sure if it is for all resin types, but mine hardens in like 15-20 minutes. For me it works best to remove the new components after maximum 10 minutes as the parts are still partially flexible as they haven't had the cores harden yet.
Easier to get difficult shapes out of the molds without having them break.

Just a tip.

I use "rocket release" or when I don't have any (for resin casting) I use plain talcum powder.

Unscented from a chemist (pharmacy)/drugstore. The usual scent is lavender (allergies) and they have the unscented version.

Lightly dust the mould (as in dump some in, cover the inside creases/crevices and then DUMP the excess out into a container. You don't need more than a light dusting.

Some oils can prevent resins from curing properly.
