Well you'll save like 400 points on the stompa, buzzgob can do a good job himself but if it's an area of denial unit, why not put the obsec grots in their, maybe with another 15point
hq mek. A min squad of lootas is a good unit, I wouldn't toss the whole thing, just keep them on foot no meks in good cover. Let's just say we're gonna look at the options for your troop slots, so we'll take them out for the moment just for consideration.
Now, you have over 1000 points to spend. Here's some options for consideration.
1- 8x trukk boyz nob w/
bp,
pk. Double your current amount of boyz and have enough trukks to stay in the game late or suffer first turn army wide immobilization.
2- 2x trukk boyz or 2x grots. Spend the rest on koptas, tankbustas, and
manz. You would have enough points to pick up a bullyboy formation if you wanted. A gorkanaut would be a cool choice to team with your stompa.
3- zhad and warbikes and koptas. Could get like 10x warbikers and 6x koptas and be super mobile.
4- blitz brigade. If you like shoota boyz this would be the time to use them. If you like shootas boyz the wagons get scout to put them into range turn 1 and their Dakka synergizes with scout by mitigating the no charge rule with the firepower. Av14 will keep them safe. Go with just big choppas if you roll shootas, if will be enough to roll most things but now you're looking to max Dakka and part of that is min'ing

I think the
Manz star is fine but I don't disagree with blackie's criticism. Part of the problem is that you have the one unit. Pardon the terminology, but in gaming this is what we would call a "feth me" light, aka the pipe on the Death Star that blows the whole thing up. That's 300 points of high grade s&p hardware relying on 35 points of av10 with zero redundancies. Part of the beauty of bullyboyz is that it forces them to split fire and ensures at least some will make it in. Having 5-6 extra trukks lying around is great because they can swap out squads based on priority, or heck might just be empty. You'd be better served going bullyboyz or double
Manz missile w/ painboy I think.
