If you're just going for fluff reasons, have a look at the old epic 40k or battlefleet gothic/space fleet eldar range. Something like an eagle bomber or a storm serpent would probably be big enough

I think Perversor is right- one of the Vampires has a capacity of 30 so that should be big enough with your opponents permission.

Or you could make up your own rules for a storm serpent /somthing similar:

Alternatively, could you graft the wraithlord to a falcon? Like a kind of hover-wraith-tank-thing.
