Quick question:
Lets say I took 8 Tech-priest Enginseers from Imperial Agents, and attached them to units in another army. (Say, Sisters of Battle.) Could I then activate Canticles of the Omnisiah to get Shrouded/Stealth in these units? (Or at least Shrouded?) Obviously the power only actually effects the Enginseer himself, but Shrouded still affects the whole unit, right?

I don't see a RAW reason not to, but I feel like I'm forgetting something, so I wanted to ask.

I'm not familiar with the Cult Mechanicus rules. Looking them up now. Cause that's a curious thing (as I have some skitarii)

After double checking the codex, I would say no. The special rule does not state it is conferred to other squads, but the wording says all models (not units) gain the benfits of whatever chosen.

As an aside, you could do what your saying, and then place the tech preist at the forefront of each of your squads to act as a damage soaker and getting the shrouded rule to make him super hardy to anything that does not ignore cover.

Well it gives the tech-priest the shrouded rule and then the Shrouded and Stealth USR does confer to the unit.

This is specifically called out as working. I forgot which rulebook I read it but it does confer as normal.
