The Aeoni System:
After a great warp storm peeled back to reveal the Harakon Cluster, the Aeoni system was rediscovered and resettled by humanity to later became a dominant workhorse in industry and mining. Six worlds populate the system and include the forge world of Canta V, the hive world and capital of Ludens, the death world of Torrhen’s Scar, the ocean world of Zen 17, and the two gas giants of Quarin and Athenia. From the edge of the sector, the Aeoni system assists the Herakon Cluster in remaining as another vital lifeline to the slow beating Imperium.
However, myths of a seventh planet existing prior to the warp storm were uncovered after the accidental discovery of ruins during mining operations. Further excavations by the adeptus mechanicus revealed an old archive which chronicled this world named Bahamatia; an Inquisitorial fortress of Lady Qu Atomos that contained a garrison of Adepta Sororitas and a collection of both prisoners and relics the Ordo Hereticus deemed too great of a threat to the public. The records also stated that when the warp storm was close to arriving, Inquisitor Atomos used an unknown ritual to remove the planet from the system and kept it safe from the storm. Words of this myth spread throughout the system and ignited excitement in uncovering the lost world. So much so that whispers spread beyond the system and reached the ears of those willing to uncover Bahamatia’s secrets by force.
First to arrive were forces of the Scholar’s Reclamation Dominion which used the glare and radiation of the system’s star to mask their approach. They descended upon Canta V with shock and awe and the forge world surrendered within 7 Terran hours. After picking up a psychic distress signal, the Conclave of Seekers arrived months later to liberate the star system from their nemesis. However, they did not expect to encounter a third alliance who proclaimed themselves as the Harbingers of the Inferno. With three monolithic factions contesting the Aeoni system, it is questionable as to whether or not the worlds will survive the encounter and who will be first to step foot on Bahamatia.
