I've giving a second look at the Wolf Claw strike force and really liking the blackmanes. While not quite battle company I really like some of the options. Let me know what I can improve upon.

Take one stormfrag autolancher in each unit of wulfen, it's just 2 points and allows you to charge units in cover with your initiative 4. I've never run the blackmanes formation so i can't give you some advise. I think it performs really well with a null deployment, with 8+ pods that arrive turn 1.

I ran blackmanes for a bit after the book dropped. With this formation you really need to maximize the damage output on the drop. I would suggest adding pack leaders to your packs with a combi-weapon to match their special. Also understand that the list is very static after it drops. The bc bikers are great for objective grabs and pushing troops around. I would drop the plasmaguns on the bikers for two reasons: 1) they're BS3 which kinda sucks and 2) if you fail a gets hot roll you just lost an expensive bike model. I'd consider a flamer instead. It's great for forcing lots of saves on things like pathfinders and elder jetbikes. I'm not a fan of our flyer and the wulfen are a bit slow for my tastes but if they work for you, awesome.

Be wary of other null deploy lists. Those matches will often be decided by who drops second.

Claws suck. The point of this formation is that Ragnar allows them to re-roll failed to hit rolls and you're not taking advantage. You're also only taking two 3 man squads. This detachment is at its best when taking 3 squads of blood claws with power fists in DP led by Ragnar and give the 4 squads of GH melta guns for tank support. Take a unit of TWC for big targets. If you don't want to max out claws in this list then you're better off taking another detachment. Dropping GH with only a plasma gun is going to get torn up...
