I play csm. My army is mainly painted in black legion scheme
Anyone have any suggestions or examples of representing other factions like berserkers or csm with Mark of nurgle or plague marines or raptors who are on lone to or tithes to the black legion but still true to there original legion.
I hope this makes sense and is in the right thread. If not sorry and feel free to move.
If you want to paint them as if they are from other legions and allied to the Black Legion I'd paint them just as they are in their own Legion with no other detail.
But if you want to I'd probably paint a shoulder pad black and gold to show they are similar.
Yes, I would like to keep a black legion theme. I just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas or examples of maybe something besides just a shoulder pad. But maybe the shoulder pad is the only good idea.
You could also try painting their whole armour black and colour the trim according to the god they serve (red=Khorne, pink=Slaanesh, blue=Tzeench, green=Nurgle).
They can plain be painted black just fine. You could give their armour a black trim or paint an arm and shoulder or helmet black. A different part of armour being painted black depending on the cult unit could be neat. Giving the unit a black banner would suffice as well.
