Hello, I had a commission paint for fire, this is my first time painting fire (I do commission for friends)
I did a bout 2-3 hours of research on different types of fire painting techniques and the nature of fire. My favorite type of fire method to paint was "acting" like the fire is lightning and then just layer up the paints.
The paints are little thicker than I like, but Im still learning. Please let me know what you think.

Not that I'm much of an authority, but it looks good to me. Very nicely executed! As a side note, I also like the heat discoloration on the weapon.

As a solid barely-capable-of-tabletop-standard painter I'd say this thing looks awesome! The flames look great close up so they'll hold up well at table-top distances no doubt. Your heat discolouration is also pretty much top-notch to my eyes.
My only criticism is that the rest of the black looks very flat. Perhaps an edge highlight on the armour panels to pick them out?

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan! |

This looks pretty cool. Good job on the flames. The heat stain on the gun is pretty neat too.

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity lasts forever.
Considering also your duty as a warrior you should not waver. Because there is nothing more auspicious for a warrior than a righteous war.

That looks fantastic and when you consider that this is a first attempt, it's even more impressive.
You have already identified that your paint is a little thick but don't be too judicious with thinner when mixing your paints: you don't want it too thin!
The heat discolouration looks great too.

Is this in bad taste? Can you vote for me so i know how good it really is and have an idea where i stand? Im trying to learn new techniques but once i get it down i want to stop working on it for another (I wont stop completely but just moving on to something else to practice).
