Hi everyone,
Was looking for a new hobby and while cleaning the house happened to stumble across the Eldar models myself and my brother had predominantly collected in the 1998-2002 period through GW, garage sales etc etc
I do have to query what I was doing in my youth as there's a far mismatch of half assembled, half painted models.
I've always been more interested in the fluff/back story side of 40K as opposed to actually battling (entered a couple of small local tournaments with a friends models back in the day but that was about it) but wouldn't mind consolidating/completing/adding to my collection.
Based on my current models (which I'll list below) I was planning on predominantly playing Alaitoc but would (eventually) like to be able to field small armies in the 'big 5' Craftworlds (although Iyanden seems a fair way off at this point) so if anyone has any tips/suggestions on which route to go down in terms of 1) which craftworld colours I should (re)paint my models in and 2) a preference list of which models I should be looking at getting in the future that would be much appreciated

List of models (top 3 were bought as 2x starter packs when GW were running a buy one get one free)
2 x Falcon w/bright lance and scatter laser https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Eldar-Falcon
2 x Vyper w/shuriken cannon https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Eldar-Vyper-Jetbike
6 x Jetbike (which appear to have been replaced/superseded?)
37 x Guardian https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Eldar-Guardians
6 x Howling Banshee https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Eldar-Howling-Banshees
1 x Avatar https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Eldar-Avatar-of-Khaine
2 x Farseer (one has a spear and pistol the other a staff and pistol) https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Eldar-Farseer
1 x Autarch with what looks like a warp jump pack, fusion pistol and chainsword
5 x Warp spiders incl 1 that has the dual blades and dual spinners https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Eldar-Warp-Spiders
4 x Swooping Hawk (well, 5, but one has no head) https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Eldar-Swooping-Hawks
24 x Rangers https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Eldar-Rangers
7 x Dark Reapers, 1 with the gun missing and 2 dudes with a pistol and a mace looking thing https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Eldar-Dark-Reapers
1 x still boxed wraithlord https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Eldar-Wraithlord
12 x Dark Eldar warriors + another 4 or so still unboxed that look like these guys http://allminiatures.ru/shop/images/w40k/de/Troops/01b.jpg
*edit* found parts for what I presume is a War Walker

Yeah I saw GW just released (or made available for pre-release) a whole bunch of new Eldar stuff
I've decided to cheat a little and paint everything (Wraithlord aside) Alaitoc and fluff bend a little so I can also play them as Yriel's Eldritch Raiders using Harlequins and DE as allies (Aspect warriors I'll paint in their aspect colours with no real CW distinguishing features)
Long term I'll probably purchase a wraithost so I can have a fluffy Iyanden "fight against the Kraken" army (using CAD Eldritch Raiders + wraith host formation + the addition Wraithlord and Avatar)

I'll head over to the rumour section though and see what's up
