I'd like to try a list with two formations from the supplement, the dark artisan and the corpsethief claw. Those 5 talos are probably my favourite dark eldar formation and i'm not a huge fan of deep striking dark artisan. So i wanted to try the combination of these two formations in order to get 7 monstrous creatures with 4+ FNP and re-rolling 1s. The remaining part of the list is designed to synergize with those units. 5 talos in the centre of my deployment zone, the dark artisan behind them, ravagers in cover to shoot, reavers and venoms spread across the flanks of the monstrous creatures.

Realspace Raiders Detachment

HQ

Court of the Archon: Lhamaean (venom with 2 splinter cannons)
75 points

Troops

2x5 Kabalite Warriors (2x venom with 2 splinter cannons)
210 points

Fast Attacks

6x3 Reavers Jetbikes (6x cluster caltrops)
378 points

Heavy Support

2x Ravagers (2x3 dark lances)
250 points

Corpsethief Claw

5 Talos
600 points

Dark Artisan

Haemonculus (armour of misery), Talos (chain flails), Cronos (spirit probe)
335 points

Total 1848 points.

Thoughs? Has someone tried the two formations together? I took ravagers as a sort of anti-tank because i don't own any flyer and trueborn cost too many points. Scourges are fast attacks too, and i thought 18 bikes would be very good in a list like this one.

Nice list. I would highly recommend blasters or heat lances on the bikes. Without them they just don't have the punch they need. You could cut one or both ravagers for more venoms as well.

Thanks for the reply I think that those 18 bikes are a priority target if they come too closer, the ravagers instead are never targeted as there are also the monstrous creatures to scare the opponent and soak a lot of fire power. So those 6 lances always have the chance to hurt. If I equip the bikes with 6 blasters/lances i fear most of the time they would snap fire. I don't think i need more venoms with warriors too as i already have a lot of poisoned shots with 6 talos, 10 kabalites and 3 venoms. Trueborn are nice too but cost more than the ravagers. I'd really like to take blasters/lances on reavers, i agree that bikes would be great if upgraded, but whitout cutting the ravagers. I can drop a unit of three bikes to give those weapons to the remaining five squads, maybe it's worth it, and i would also have 15 spare points to equip some talos with chain flails.

Seems like a fun list. I'm a fan of the reavers backing up the CtC and DA.

I would recommend a few changes however.

1) Ditch the lhamian venom and upgrade every talos to have ichor injectors. Seriously, they are almost a mandatory upgrade. You've got a lot of poisoned shots already and want the chance of instant death for all your taloi, not to mention fleshbane for fighting T6+ models.

2) Ravagers are just not what they used to be. In your list with 3 source limit I assume, get more blasters on the reavers as mentioned.

3) Haemonculus covens formations can't take artefacts of cruelty, so no armor of misery for the haemonculus sadly. That's straight up illegal. Run the nightmare doll if you want a super strong warlord (3+ fnp, ignore the first instant death wound in a game). Also as mentioned for the ichor injectors, chain flails are strictly inferior even being 5 points cheaper.

Good luck!

Thanks for the input, the armour of misery was actually a mistake and i need to fix it. Ditching the lhamaen transport is something i thought about, and maybe i'll do it. About ravagers vs blasters on bikes, i prefer ravagers as i found out that jetbikes die pretty easily and always have to jink. In this list the ravagers are usually ignored so those 6 dark lances shots are handy. If i had more bikes to add i would replace the ravagers with them and blasters, but 18 bikes are not that many and i prefer them to be as cheap as possible. Bikes are six units of three, i wanted to bring a couple of larger squads but i don't have the models. I really like ichor injectors on talos, but i struggle with points and most of the times their basic attacks are enough, sometimes that upgrade can be invaluable though, so i should actually equip them with ichor injectors, we shall see. Thanks again.
