Even though the models are old I love empire knights, was thinking about running a brotherhood as the majority of my army.

General on horse with lance and banner

Brotherhood of knights:
Empire knights x10 w/ lances
Empire knights x10 w/ lances
Empire knights x10 w/ lances
Demigryphs x3 w/ lances

Handgunners x10
Handgunners x10
Handgunners x10

Helstorm
Steam tank

I know they're not insanely competitive, but 20 lances and 30 hooves with rerolls to hit for 300 points seems pretty impressive. Lances against a 4+ will deal 10 wounds and hooves will deal 6, and it's a 20 wound unit with a 4+ reroll 1s. And it looks awesome and has a cool theme.

Hmm, I'm looking at the list again and I remember that the Knight Templar Grand Master makes a great force multiplier for your heavy cavalry. His command ability affects all knights within 15", and he has pretty much the same load out as a general on horse with sword and board: I simply don't know where you plan on putting the lance and banner general in your army - is he meant to hang around the backfield as a beatstick in case the gunners get charged, or is he meant to be joining the knight's charge? how do you see his command ability pool (he will have more than one depending on the scenario you are playing) featuring in your playbook?

What relics and traits did you see yourself using?

If you were feeling really daring I have seen some good words put in about the Hurricanum or Luminark, using the knights as the delivery system for their hit bonus/save-before-save generators until the last minute. Not sure what I would recommend removing to fit either of those though.

Keep thinking on your own time and you'll get something you like.
