Hello all! I got into Warhammer last year thanks to a friend, and as a repayment I wanted to paint him a Blood Angel for his army, question is, whats the cheapest single figure for a blood angel army? I thought about doing just a chaplain but that seems kinda dull. Any suggestions would be helpful. I play Raven Guard myself, but I dunno if that'll mean anything.

Go to GW website, go to blood angels, then sort price low to high...

If you play Ravenguard, it might be fun to pick up the BA accessory sprue and add a couple of spare bits for your collection to make a custom figure. Sang priest with a jump pack?

Or you could grab a deathwatch box. One of the shoulder pads in there is a BA one IIRC, so you could make a fig for him, and add the others to your army.

Well if he's using Angel Blade he will likely need 2 Chaplains with Jump packs and Inferno pistols...

Mephiston is awesome but he doesn't fit well in most BA lists... Dante is a good option however.

Don't know about the states, but over here you could grab the bits to make your buddy a single marine from a bits site/ebay for much less than the cheapest single figure GW will sell you. Between the Death Company, Sanguinary Guard and BA Tactical boxes there are enough bits out there that you could build anything from a Tactical to a Captain, an Assault marine to a Librarian etc..

Plus you have the option of building it as you see fit, it'll be your marine that you gave him rather than a GW marine.

HQ always stand put and give more chance to show off abit of bling n skill.

A chaplain, captain, Dante all sound great option's.
