new demon Mortarion looks nice from what I can see (nurgle cherubim :O )

Hard to say anything based on those tiny pictures. But it sure looks like some kind of Mortarion Nurgel model. Would not be surprised if it really is an upcoming GW version, but even less surprised if it was a fake.

But if it is real, man GW will be pissed

Looks good, whatever I can make out of the pics that is.

It could just be a model made by another company. Although, I've never seen those wings before and it appears to have all of the swirly magic/cloth detail that GW likes adding to their flying characters/creatures. So it might be legit.

Is that supposed to be a normal CSM standing next to him? Or something smaller? He looks kind of tiny.

Don't thinkt it's from GW. Seems to be traditionnally sculpted (pics 2 and 3), not digitally sculpted

number 2 and 3 are parts painted separately. 1 is the model paint. 4 is model in 3D. the others are the plastic model without paint.

Also, picture 4 looks to contain a herald looking model, at least from what I hope.

Well there was a leaked death guard paint a little while ago, so i'm assuming at some point this year there is going to be a nurgle release of some kind.

This does look interesting though, it's just a shame the images are so small. Can't blow em up without losing all the detail.

Lady Atia already confirmed Morty was coming a while ago

I thought there were only 2 Primarchs supposed to be released? One Chaos and one Imperium. Wouldn't this make it 2 Chaos? I could be wrong, not even sure I know who or what Mortarion is. I am guessing he is a Deamon Primarch of some sort.

I would love it to be the Mortarion model, but it is most likely not as the pic's origin is a russian community page

Mortarion is the deamon primarch of the death guard. There was never any confirmation the number of primarchs.

Right. Wrath of Magnus did mention a few primarchs in total but I've seen nothing legit about numbers/limits of primarchs in 40K, myself. I would love a Mortarion DP model.

We know from reliable sources about a plastic Mortarion for 40k, Hastings has rumored such a model as well. The photo though looks like a Stormcast or Magnus conversion. Next should be a loyal Primarch anyway, according to Sad Panda.

It fits with the general theme. Nurgle based Silver Tower sequel, Typhon was prominent in the Cadian system during the 13th Crusade so the timing makes sense for that, too, given the material just released. It's better than even odds we're looking at Death Guard for the next HH box set.

I started a general "guess the next HH box" thread in the Discussions forum but no one posited any of the Death Guard battles. I wonder which would be the best, assuming there's no repeat of loyalist chapters?

Yeah they did align the release schedules for Tzeentch across both systems (silver tower, WoM, Tzaangors in both games etc) and the silver tower sequel has as Breotan says got Nurgle protagonists / antagonists on the cover art.

With Atia basically saying "Mortarion is coming at some point too", it's possible these are real pics.

But even if they aren't real, it seems clear that there will be at least some Nurgle releases coming in the short to medium term (makes sense considering they did a Khorne push, then Tzeentch, and we're yet to know what they'll do to reboot Slaanesh... so Nurgle's the more likely one to come next).

I see conversion potential. Especially the way the wings are posed. Reminds me of the stormcast exalted guy with ghal maraz

Is that Scythe exactly identical to the FW one he's carrying? If so it could just be a super well done piece of conversion work.
