As an aspiring Astra Militarum, I am currently facing a tough question: is it really worth the $33 for the new codex? I currently have access to the 6th edition codex, and I am wondering if the changes from 6th to 7th are significant enough to make a new codex worthwhile (as opposed to conferring codex rules with the internet).

There is no 7th edition codex. Astra Militarum still has its 6th ed codex, with no upgrade to 7th.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

Eh, I'd wait for 8th and see what happens.

Voted Astra Militarum for a chance for them to get nerfed instead of my own army.

There has been some changes to Astra militarum units in the "agents of the Imperium" book, like the astropath now getting both divination and telepathy and increased wargear, and the priest now being allowed the eviscirator.

Generally speaking you need to use your latest codex though the recent army books have put a spinn on that.

His pattern of returning alive after being declared dead occurred often enough during Cain's career that the Munitorum made a special ruling that Ciaphas Cain is to never be considered dead, despite evidence to the contrary.
