So I have an armored company detachment of tanks and another cad of Astra Militarum with a company command squad. I was wondering if it's possible for a company command squad to issue orders to a tank, one and to a tank in another detachment? Thanks all.

Did you have a read of the Voice of Command special rule? It seems to be quite clear on the matter:

"To issue an order, declare the order your officer is attempting to issue and select a single friendly non-vehicle unit... We call this unit the 'ordered unit'."

There is no requirement however for the unit to be in the same Detachment as the officer.

If you want to give orders to your tanks you need a tank commander, not a CCS, and he can only issue tank orders, and even then they only apply to other units of leman russes if you have the relic Kabe's Herald.
