I've been looking around and i saw the mention of this unit, and trying to find stats on it is very hard? where do you even find the stats? is it even legal to use? what does it do?

Old epic mini. Roughly sized between a knight and a warhound. Some home brew rules floating around but nothing official.

Best way is to look at a few videos on the old tyranid hive war epic supplement or find scans. I honestly have hope that when we get our 7th ed update, this is our GMC. It's about the only thing we are really missing.

If it made it to 40K in its original scale you're looking at something Reaver Titan size or bigger. In fact probably bigger than that huge Forge World Tyranid thing they have. I don't think you'll see anything that scale in 40K.

EDIT: Interesting custom model someone was making --- even here the scale is a little off (it should be a bit bigger).

I honestly hope we get an expanded version of the Hierodule.

1 data sheet with options to be specced as scythed or barbed and a few new options for it. Make it the Nid version of an imperial knight. Maybe an option to toss it a couple psychic powers or something.

Make a new plastic kit that doesn't have a dumb mouth that doesn't fit with the aesthetic of the rest of the nids.
