Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has managed to successfully magnetise Lychguard arms to allow for both Warscythes and sword + board?

The wrists look a little flimsy however each Lychguard has 2 sets of arms, and I am thinking I miggt instead just magnetise them in the arm sockets and therefore attach 2 arms for sword and board, or a glued pair with a warscythe.

Anyone tried this already or had any sucess with alternative setups?

Oh and before the obvious question of why using Warscythes, I want to try and use them to counter a SM drop pod army with some effective pod and marine squishing.

I do remember trying this, before I decided not to magnetize everything. I've got one magnetized somewhere. What I remember was having a good bit of trouble posing the arms on the warscythe, and ending with the sword/shield arms being irritatingly flaccid. In the end, you're much less likely to lose arms and weapons/get them stepped on/chipped if you don't try to magnetize arms. Bash up some warriors with the warscythes or maybe do a mixed squad and hope that the people you have to play with aren't too up their own ass to let you count the squad as having not exactly the weapons they're modeled with.
