I have the Deathwatch Overkill boxset, and recently picked up a copy of the Genestealer Cult codex.

The codex seems very weak...I'm assuming this is a novelty army list. I'm disappointed with the lack of synergy with the Tyranids codex as well. I have a sizeable Tyranids army. I thought this codex would give them a boost, and have fun rules that interact with Tyranids, but alas all that's there to he had is Allies of Convenience. But it is what it is, I suppose.

What are the best units to add on to the contents of the Deathwatch Overkill boxset to beef up a Genestealer Cult army? I'm guessing Leman Russ tanks are a good idea. Anything else I should be seriously considering?

That truck they have is amazing, only played against 2 genestealer cults but they had a few of those trucks my god they are evil.
I need to go to work every day.

They're so ugly though, at least IMO...maybe I can convert one up from a toy truck.

Currently my favourite looking vehicle, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that.
I'm bulking up my force with Leman Russ's, Chimeras and guardsmen, all given a slight alien twist.
I've been playing a while, my first model was a lead marine and my first White Dwarf was bound with staples
