I keep on seeing this crop up more and more, Titanfall 2 players Abbreviating Titanfall 2 to "TF2" Despite the fact that...
A. Team Fortress 2 has claimed this for almost 10 years
B. Titanfall is One word, so it would be T2, or Tf2 (TF|2 i dont mind, as the line is clear)
Seriously, this is beginning to start to annoy me, watching these "Millenials" think that the "TF2" Abbreviation is Original, go play a REAL FPS god dammit!

So you're angry because some people abbreviated a game named Titanfall 2 to TF2? Listen, I enjoyed team fortress 2, but was it really worth making a thread to complain about it?

Its not just that
Its when they also create questions and polls (E.G What is your Favourite TF2 Class or Favourite TF2 Faction) only to go "Tone, Ronin Etc" when i expected "Pyro, Engineer etc"

TF2 is a "real FPS".
I enjoy it much more than I ever did TF2 or TFC.
You may enjoy life more and reduce stress by not worrying about game abbreviations.

Just pay attention to context, it's usually not all that hard to figure out given the pretty big differences between the games.

I like TF2 more then TF2, but TF2 is still a great game just TF2 improves the FPS genre in ways that TF2 doesn't, but I can see why others might prefer TF2 more.

I like the assumption here that TF2 isn't a "REAL FPS" because TF2 isn't a classic styled shooter, and TF2 is. That would mean there are only about 4 REAL FPS franchises out there to play 
TF2 can't claim originality to TF2 like it's some kind of trademark either.
Also, as said before, context should resolve any confusion that may come through using TF2.
