Given it's Specialist Games not FW slating FW seems a bit irrelevant to the discussion.

And SG have been pretty good at producing content for Necro and BB, including more plastics (though AT so far involves the same or slightly more plastic design than Necro so far) so I don't see why you are so negative about it. It won't be an intense release schedule, but they are continuing support.

Specialist Games is part of Forgeworld.

Glad I didn't buy anymore warlords yet then, if they are going to do alternate weapons like this and not a separate sprue set. Will be very irritating if there ends up like 4 different warlord boxes with multiple different weapon options that we want to mix! I suspect they will still do a separate weapon sprue set soon though.

The cerastus look cool. They are specificall said to be Lancers, but it says in the article they come with various arm options so hopefully they can make Acherons and Castigators as well.

All specialist games plastic releases so far have been released via main GW channels, I doubt these will be any different

I like they they have done the reaver volcano cannon different from the 40k version. It looks much more similar to and in keeping with the look of the turbolasers, laser destructors and the Warlord volcano cannon.

The gryphonicus transfer sheet is very nice

Yeah the BFG models were all done the traditional way. Most BFG stuff came out in 1999, around 7 years before they started using CAD.

I think we will definetly get the knight upgrades sprue and the atarus transfers before the year is out. Plus the warlord carapace gatlings from FW.

I'd be very surprised if these aren't plastic, given all Knight kits have been plastic so far.

Next releases are blatantly going to be the Knight Atrapos (probably in resin as similar hull detailing to the styrix and magaera) and the Warbringer with the Volcano cannon

Yeah £32 is about right for FW.

So go on then; who's treating themselves?

1 set of each for me

Feels like we are getting close to a complete set of knights now, only the Atrapos, Asterius and Castellan/valiant to go.

The Mechanicus styled knights look so much better in AT scale than in 40k scale.

Imma be honest, i think this game is on the way out, GW doesn't seem to be willing to make any Chaos models or expand into Xenos, and there isn't really much way to go forward without those.

Nah, there are still models they mentioned that were part of the original design plan they can do. The Scout Titan smaller than the Warhound (probably the oft mentioned Rapier), the Titan sized in between the Warhound and Reaver, and the plain non-corrupted versions of the old Slaneeshi Knights.

Plus there are several other classes of Titan mentioned in Heresy fluff they could produce, beyond the inbetween size models.

And the Dominus class Knights.

Plenty of stuff to produce before thinking about Xenos titans

I think they will definitely do some Chaos Titans at some point though, as they did appear in numbers at the Siege.

URL has 2020 in its title, so this has been pending for a while.

Interesting, must have been originally due to come out Nov/Dec 2020 like the other mechanicum knights.

Its a good thing they decided to go with plastic for the main sets and the standard Knights. The models were originally going to be all resin. Imagine how much a Warlord or Reaver would have been at these if the resin knights are this much!!
