So I'm doing some conversion work right now for my Harbringer of Decay, and a big part of that is going to involve its mount. The idea I'm playing with is that of a fey steed that's been laid low by my Nurgle Lord, and then corrupted and humiliated, and triumphantly paraded amongst the forces of Nurgle as a complete mockery of the Wood Elves/Sylvaneth/etc. and everything they represent. Something that I think might give some good flavour to my conversion. The main thing I'm wondering is whether or not this ends up flying in the face of established fluff. Because while I think my idea is sounding pretty cool, I'd like to have some consistency with the source material.

No, it isn't out of character or in conflict with the lore. Your idea is pretty cool. Being fay steed it may have fey wings which could look like this after it is corrupted

These are plague drones' wings.

Excellent. I already have a model planned (the Screaming Antelope from Kingdom Death: Monster), just need to do some minor alterations to it. Right now, it's the rider that's proving the most difficult, I'm not particularly good with greenstuff. But hopefully something good will come from all of this.

Excellent choice of miniature . I really like the ghastly empty, white eyeballs - they look tormented as the creature should be.
